In todays blog i am going to share my experience of visiting manali with my friends.so stay tuned…
In the last week of 2020,me and my friends decided to celebrate the new year at out station.So it was decided to go Manali on the night of 31st December 2020 so that all can enjoy the snow in valley,moreover,none of us has visited manali before.Since we were seven boys so we booked a suv for manali.
We left From Rajpura on the night of 30th December 2020 at around 10 PM and reached Manali early in the morning around 7AM on 31st December 2020.
Then we roamed for some time in the market of mall road and started looking for a hotel and we got a 2 room set at around INR.1000/- per room.(prices vary from hotel to hotel and situation)
In the hotel,we stayed for some hours and did some rest.One of our friend brought maggi with him so we cooked that in a water boiling kettle and ate,which had really helped us to save a lot of money as food was very costly in manali.
After getting fresh at the hotel,we left the room to enjoy the views of the valley and hustle – bustle of the market.
In the market,we went in a restaurant and ordered for Tea as it was very chilling out there.While we were enjoying our Tea,I asked the group that what is the whole plan as we were staying for a couple of days there,then everybody started suggesting we should visit here and there in manali but at the end of the discussion it was finalised to firstly visit Solang valley then “Gurudwara Shri Manikaran” Sahib which is also very famous.after spending that day in Manali and enjoying the views of the mall road we went back to hotel and stayed there for the rest of the day.
Next morning,we left the hotel for Solang valley and booked an adventure pack as we knew that there are some adventurous things to do.The brocker took INR 12000/- in lump sum for the whole group , which included 5 games such as Zipline,Ice skiing,Yak riding,River crossing and Paragliding.(Here also the prices vary according to situation)
As we reached at the Solang valley the snowfall started which worked as a fuel to our enjoyment and we all felt very amazing.After enjoying all adventures one after other the whole day passed away and we didn’t even realised that but as the day passes our tour guide told us to backup as it gets crowdy on road in the evening and we will get late to reach our hotel.So we came back however the road started to get crowded with vehicles coming back fron the valley.we spent around 1-2 hour in jam.we reached hotel at around 8 pm did some gossips and went to sleep.
On the morning next day,we left for Gurudwara Manikaran Sahib and in the way to manikaran we went through Kasol valley which is one of the famous place in Himachal as one can check on the internet about the speciality of kasol valley.it was very crowdy and we have seen that people were doing camping in kasol and we really missed that opportunity.
On reaching manikaran we had our bathe in the pool of the Gurudwara then we Done Greeting at the Gurudwara sahib.after that we took tea and food at the langar hall of the Gurudwara.we have also been to a famous lord Shiva temple which is settled beside the Gurudwara at manikaran.we did greeting there and came back to the parking stand where our suv was parked.we sat in the suv and decided to left for the Rajpura. When we were on our way back to hotel we stayed for some time at the kasol valley to enjoy the view of the market,afterthat,we left for our way back to home and arrived Rajpura at night around 12 am.
